yeah and japan is full of those,running either 2.7x or 2.8x right out of the box. lucky for me i've spotted a rare white 2.5 non-TA at a shop far away from the city. bought it $160, yeah i know its not cheap.
i haven't TA-086 yeti waiting my sponsor ship one to me :)
I'm a owner of a Kachofugetsu PSP and I can tell you, i've got an TA-086 with Firmware 2.71 (default) ;)
how can you find out that your psp not TA-083 -> TA-086
how do you find out what mobo of your PSP if it between TA-083 -> TA-086

when you open UMD door
you can see "IC1003"
yeah and japan is full of those,
