Would you say that too if you owned a 2.80 TA-082? STFU!
1. I think you don't understand how much time 0okm's work takes and how much he's already done for the scene. Of course it's sad if he promises something and discovers that he can't do it because he lacks the time or because it isn't possible at al because he's overseen a serious limitation.
2. Maybe 0okm makes some money with softdowned TA-082's on eBay but most psp's he sells there are HARDdowned TA-082's. I can tell you, it's hardly worth the money. Ever tried to desolder a nandflash chip, reball it, program it in an external (probably homemade) programmer and resolder it and still keep it alive? I can't even desolder it without destroying the psp mainboard! And even if you can do it, it takes a serious amount of time. Considering this, I think 0okm doesn't sell psp's to subsidise the costs of his work. It's more likely it's a basic part of his income, unless Chinese days have 48 hours.
3. I don't believe 0okm had a working TA-082 softdown and kept it back deliberately. He was the first to create a 2.80->2.71 downgrader after Dark_AleX released the TA-082 "CORRECT HACK", to make a softdown possible for 2.80 TA-082 owners. I also believe the cryptic reference 0okm made to the "CORRECT HACK", a few days before it was released, was based on inside information shared between Dark_AleX and himself. Maybe they even cooperated to create the "CORRECT HACK". And remember the effort 0okm made to softdown TA-082 psp's by creating the necessary files by hand?
3. If you dislike 0okm that much, why are you still visiting his blog? Afraid to miss something he never promised but yet gave to us?
Maybe you're right and you just have to take a break :p
