Undiluted Platinum is NOT support TA-082 :P

We now have the official diagrams for the world's first and incredibly advanced PSP Modchip called the Undiluted Platinum (info. The diagrams show the installation position of the FPC cables , traces which require soldering of wire to and usage procedure of the installation aids. The first release is for Motherboard TA-079, with TA-080 and TA-081 to follow tomorrow. TA-082 is not supported, however, they seem to be limited to Asia and have 2.6 or above firmwares. We believe that overall numbers of TA-082 as a proportion compared with TA-079, TA-080 and TA-081, should be quite limited.

Note :
i have 3 pcs PSP is TA-082
PSP-1000 (Box Code H) come with FW2.50
PSP-1000 (Box Code I) come with FW2.60
PSP-1006CW (Box Code I) come with FW2.60

so check your PCB ver before buy !!

TA-082 : when open UMD door, you can see IR LABEL IC1003

TA-082's IR LABEL IC1003 on IR left side, so you can see it :D

TA-079/TA-080/TA-081's IR LABEL IC1003 on IR right side, so you can't see it :P

erm i really have a problem and i've been hearing about you all over the internet so i thought you could help. i bought my psp ages (literally) ago. before it came out in the UK, around june of 2005. it's so old i think that the motherboard is pre TA-079. i have a downdater for psp version 2.81 and whenever i try it it says not TA-079-081. its definitely not TA-082 because there is no writing in the place that you specified and it doesnt brick with the downgrader. it came with v1.5 but i was dumb enough to update because i never knew about homebrew. how can i downgrade my psp? plz help! plz email me at muslim_jagani@hotmail.com (and please every1 else dont send me junk mail!:D)
