Nice, this is great hope for the TA-082. But, it will be only possible to launch the multifirmware with your modchip right ?
If this is an add-on module that we have to solder on, why do we need to keep the current FW? (2.5/2.6?) I mean, the HW module you are adding bypasses the firmware no??
Does this mean that, technically, you can have a PSP with FW2.6 and have the Multi Firmware module contain ANY firmware such as the hacked 2.71, 1.00, and 1.5?

Oh come onnnn! Why do I have to spend money on this?? Isn't there a solution for us that does not erquire any special extra hardware?? Isn't that a software solution so that I dont have to spend any extra money on? What happened to Fanjita's eloader/nokxploit type thing that would work on the TA-082 also?
Not only is buying new hardware spending money, but it is a headache to come and manually open/solder and it also poses a risk of permanant damage to the PSP.

Hey Ookm, I got my psp for awhile now, and i was so glad to get it, only to be utterly dissapointed when i discovered i could'nt play homebrew on it. Ookkm, i BOUGHT my psp in the hopes that i would be able to play the old school goodness... (super mario world for snes) but like many other truehearted gamers, i was disappointed with the TA-082 motherboard. As i scanned the internet for a solution, i came upon your blog, and i was again given hope. after reading so much about what you are doing for the psp world, i think you can actually do it. i know you can. you can crack the TA-082 motherboard. well, as of now, i am following your advice, and i will not upgrade. i will await your solution. i will continue to look around all over the internet for added information. I know that alot of TA-082 owners, if not all are depending on you, but i know the true heroes work well under pressure....

Hello Ookm. I am a big fan of your work. I have read everything you have done for the psp community, and i now praise you as my hero. i realize that you stopped the TA-082 motherboard softdown, but i have recently had many problems with my 1.5 psp. a few days ago my psps bottuns had stooped working properly and i don't know what happened or why it happened.so today i have to return it to get a new one that will most likely be 1 TA-082.
This makes me very sad because the only thing i ever do with my psp is play the games we all used to love.
i realize that you are a very busy person, and you have stopped the softdown, but i for one really hope you keep doing it. if you consider it then please email me and maybe you can send thing to me and i can send things to the people who need it. that way nothing bad will happen to you. It doesnt matter to me now wether i have a psp that can play the latest homebrew and emulators, becuase i have experienced that for over a year on my former factory 1.5 that died of natural causes.
I just really want to help people truelly experience the psp based on what the psp should have been made for. i realize you maynot even check this blog very often if ever, because you had no choice but to leave, but i would be very happy along with millions of people if you started with the soft down again. not for my sake but for all of those people. and please try and remember that out of 1 million people there may be a bad person and as bad as that one person may be, those other 999,999 people are people who honor , support and even worship you as a person of great knolage as well as a person who loves to help others.
If you have made you decision final and i cannot sway you, or you hate me now for tying to get your hopes up, then i am truelly sorry for what happend and i honor you for your efforts, and i honor you for the fact that you helped so many people enjoy their psps to the fullest extent.

. i had the other psp motherboard before and i messed it up by flashing it so i returned it and got the ta-082 peice of shit now i can put homebrews on my psp again thank you

0okm SUCKS FUCKIN DICK. THIS LITTLE CRACK HEAD NEVER RELEASED THE DOWNGRADER NOW NO ONE CAN RUN 1.5 ON TA-082.
